About Us

Wildflower is the creation of two hospitality lifers who collectively bring over 30+ years of experience in this industry's leading restaurants and hotels.  Unsatisfied with the status quo in the restaurant industry, we were driven into business ownership by a passion to create a space that is new and compelling to the dialogue between what already exists and what could be.   We are determined to create an ambience of relaxed excellence through a balance of refined technical service paired with gracious hospitality and soulful cooking.

Nourishment

For us, food is not just sustenance.  We believe it should be interwoven into our lives with thoughtful intent and reflect the values of our connection to nature and the people around us.  Vancouver Island and the Alberni Valley host a multitude of farmers who are growing incredible produce and ethically raised meats.  We are committed to showcasing this bounty through a combination of refined technical skill and creative, loving, soul to create a menu that focuses on healthy and simple recipes and locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.
